Blue Shou Plate

The stylized adaptation of the Blue Canton pattern decorates the shoulder of the dinner plate.The word Shou (pronounced "show") is the Chinese word for longevity. The pine tree. which is a key element of the pattern symbolizes endurance and long life. Blue Shou is produced in classic cobalt on bright white porcelain: a classic in its own right.

Each piece is beautifully handcrafted of white porcelain and hand glazed by the artisans of Mottahedeh.
